AK RESTAURANT & BAR

The first restaurant for a Los Angeles-based celebrity chef, AK Restaurant and Bar is located on chic Abbot Kinney Boulevard in the heart of Venice, California. Designed to maximize the indoor - outdoor experience, the restaurant features three distinct dining environments behind a screen of bamboo: an outdoor dining room anchored by a fireplace; a double height bar/lounge area for cocktails and communal dining; and an intimate mezzanine providing views of Venice. The completed project was a finalist for a 2009 AIA/LA Restaurant Design Award.
